(AllHipHop News) Just like most of 2018, Hip Hop is dominating 2019's Billboard 200 chart so far. 21 Savage's two-week reign at #1 was barely ended by A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie this week.
A Boogie's Hoodie SZN collected 58,000 units in its third week, giving the Bronx rapper the first chart-topper of his career. 21 Savage’s I Am > I Was fell to #2 with 56,000 units.
Plus, the Hip Hop-centered Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse climbed to #3. Meek Mill’s Championships (#4), Post Malone’s beerbongs & bentleys (#5), Travis Scott’s Astroworld (#6), Drake’s Scorpion (#8), and Kodak Black’s Dying To Live (#9) remain in the Top 10 too.
Next week is likely to see another rap release control the #1 position on the Billboard 200 chart. Future is dropping his seventh studio album, The Wizrd, on January 18.
