A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Explains The Inspiration For His "Look Back At It" Video

(AllHipHop News) A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie dropped the newest music video off his Hoodie SZN album. Internet sensation The Backpack Kid stars in the “Look Back At It" seeable.

The opening scene of “Look Back At It" pays homage to Michael Jackson’s classic “Black or White.” The JMB-directed visual then takes place at the fictional "High Bridge" high school which is named after A Boogie’s record label.

“I was inspired to shoot ‘Look Back At it’ in a high school because I’m like a voice of the youth,” explains the 23-year-old New Yorker. “When the youth sees me in a classroom I want them to be inspired to accomplish their dreams. I was just like them in a classroom at one point. It all starts in a classroom.”

“Look Back At It” peaked at #40 on the Hot 100 so far. Hoodie SZN spent two weeks at #1 on the Billboard 200 album chart, and the LP has racked up 500 million streams. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie will begin touring North America on February 20.
