A show in Michigan was scrapped over threats of a mass shooting.

(AllHipHop News) A concert featuring New York hip-hop collective Beast Coast was canceled, over some ominous threats in Michigan.

Cops in Sterling Heights received word someone was planning a mass shooting at a stop Beast Coast's "Escape from New York" tour over the weekend.

The group was supposed to play the Michigan Lottery Amphitheater on August 11, but promoters canceled the show after receiving word someone was planning to shoot up the venue and kill as many people as possible.

313 Presents decided to ax the show, which featured group members Joey Bada$$, The Flat Bush Zombies, The Underachievers and others.

The rappers are touring as Beast Coast on the "Escape New York" tour, in support of their debut album of the same name.

The Macomb County Sheriff's Office in Michigan has launched an investigation into the incident.

Fans who purchased tickets to see Beast Coast can get refunds at their point of purchase.
