Aaliyah's Bro Helped Craft Iconic Look For Madame Tussauds Wax Figure

A new wax figure of the late singer is based on her hit song "Try Again."

(AllHipHop News) Aaliyah's brother and mother were left "emotional" after working with Madame Tussauds on a waxwork of the late singer.

The figure, which sees Aaliyah in the leather pants and metallic bra from her 2000 "Try Again" video, was unveiled at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas on Wednesday with the star's brother Rashad Haughton in attendance.

“I was involved in the process from the inception of the project," he explained.

"The team at Madame Tussauds welcomed a collaborative effort in choosing the pose and look of my sister’s figure. They made sure my mother and I were comfortable and supported through an amazing but understandably emotional process."

Aaliyah was just 22-years-old when she died in a plane crash on August 25, 2001.
