(AllHipHop News) "Empire" star Terrence Howard has broken his silence on the Jussie Smollett controversy, while audiences still remain perplexed on whether or not the alleged attack was staged.

Howard took to his 804K followers on Instagram to post a video of Smollett playing and gushing with a baby on his lap.

The caption reads, “All your lil homies got you... We love the hell outta you ♥️.”

Smollett plays Jamal on the Fox show, which makes him Howard’s TV son.

One fan commented on the video criticizing Howard for supporting Smollett, in which he claps back:

"Sorry you feel that way but that's the only Jussie I know," he posted. "The Jussie I know could never even conceive of something so unconscious and ugly. His innocence or judgment is not for any of us to decide. Stay in your lane and my lane is empathy and love and compassion for someone I've called my son for five years. It's God's job to judge and it's ours to love and hope, especially for those that we claim to have loved."

Jussie Smollett was recently arrested on a felony charge after falsely claiming he was attacked.

We are still waiting for the case to unfold.
