(AllHipHop News) The world will never understand the passing of Nipsey Hussle.

Legendary soul singer Al Green recently joined the conversation, remembering the rapper’s legacy in the most positive light.

During an interview with Atlanta News Now, about his career, Al Green turned a part of the conversation to reflect on Nipsey, who was shot and killed on March 31 in Los Angeles by a man named Eric Holder.

“I’ve been watching the news coverage of that young man [Nipsey Hussle] I watched his videos until 1 that morning. That was a talented guy," Al Green said.

"All of these kids trying to help other kids finish school and do good things, and here comes some guy [the shooter] who’s probably not doing anything, and he takes [Hussle] out for what? Heaven knows," he continued. "I don’t understand that. But the beat goes on, and there will be someone standing in his place.”

Al Green’s smooth voice will forever remain with music-lovers today, as seen in hit singles “I’m Still in Love With You,” “You Ought to Be With Me,” and “Let’s Stay Together.”
