Alfamega, a rapper formerly affiliated with T.I., has been arrested after police say they caught him with a loaded .40 caliber semi-automatic weapon in his vehicle.
The police maintain the rapper attempted to flee during a routine traffic stop on April 29.
Upon attempting to run from the police, Alfamega became "combative and non-compliant" and temporarily eluded authorities despite being pepper-sprayed in the face. He was subsequently hit with a police baton, but the authorities were unable to capture him, the report says. The rapper then ran through parked cars and leapt 25-30 feet after climbing a wall at a parking garage.
The story is consistent with reports from the AllHipHop.com rumor section, which had sources that stated Alfamega had trauma to both of his legs. Thesmokinggun.com reported that Alfamega had pieces of bone protruding from his ankle.
Alfa, real name Cedric Zellars, has been charged with two counts of felony obstruction and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Has has been since released on bail.
T.I. kicked Alfamega out of his Grand Hustle crew after the 6 4 rappers past as a DEA informant was revealed.
