(AllHipHop News) Donald Trump's embattled Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is currently under FBI investigation for allegations of sexual assault. Several celebrities are headed to Washington, DC to voice their opposition to Kavanaugh sitting on the highest court in the land.
Grammy-winning singers Alicia Keys, Erykah Badu, Maxwell, and Esperanza Spalding are among the stars taking part in the #BraveryIsContagious protest on October 4. Organizers are also asking supporters to call their Senators and tell them to vote no on Kavanaugh.
“We anticipate a vote on the Senate floor to confirm Brett Kavanaugh as early as Friday. It is critical we make our voices heard on the ground in Washington," reads a note on the Party Majority PAC website.
Dr. Christine Blasey Ford accused Kavanaugh of attempted rape in the summer of 1982. The United States Circuit Judge has also faced allegations of sexual misconduct by Deborah Ramirez and Julie Swetnick.
Both Blasey Ford and Kavanaugh testified under oath in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee on September 27. Kavanaugh has denied all allegations against him.
