Alicia is going to host the annual fundraiser to help eradicate poverty.

(AllHipHop News) Queen and Alicia Keys are set to hit the stage for New York's 2019 Global Citizen Music Festival.

The event, held on the Great Lawn in Central Park, will be hosted by Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness for the second year running, while actors Taraji P. Henson, Rami Malek, Matt Bomer, Rachel Brosnahan, and Forest Whitaker will all make appearances.

Other scheduled performers will include Pharrell Williams, OneRepublic, H.E.R., Carole King, and French Montana.

The free annual event, which is part of an initiative to raise awareness about extreme poverty, will take place on September 28.

Last year, Janet Jackson, Janelle Monae and Cardi B were among the top acts to play at the Global Citizen Festival, while Beyonce headlined a sister event in South Africa.
