Cardi B Responds To Her Critics During Best New Artist VMA Acceptance Speech

The "I Like It" hitmaker has some fiery words for her haters.

(AllHipHop News) NYC rapper Cardi B was one of the big winners at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards. The Bronx-raised entertainer walked away with three Moon Persons.

Cardi won Song Of The Summer ("I Like It") and Best Collaboration (as a featured performer on Jennifer Lopez's Dinero). She also picked up the Best New Artist honor.

While accepting the latter award, Cardi took a moment to address some of her critics. There have been accusations that she allegedly paid radio stations and industry personalities to promote her music.

"I want to thank all my fans, my family that supported me. All the love that my fans, that my friends, that everybody shows me is genuine, it's beautiful," Cardi told the audience. "That's something that God gives me that you can't buy, b*tch."
