An Alleged Cardi B Accuser Admits His Robbery Accusation Was A "Joke"

Unverified rumors about the Grammy winner are circulating on the internet.

(AllHipHop News) A three-year-old Instagram video of Cardi talking about supposedly drugging and robbing men back when she was working as a stripper has put the "Money" performer in the hot seat. A Facebook user under the name Ak Ore Akim claimed he was one of the strip club patrons that was robbed by Cardi.

However, Akim is now saying he was not being serious when he wrote about his alleged "traumatizing" experience. He stated in the comment section in one of his Facebook posts, "That was a joke. Any man who [lets] that type of sh*t happen is a gullible dumb f*ck! #SUCKA."

Several gossip sites and YouTube channels covered another man, supposedly named Kevin Smith, that was connected to the exact same story that was posted on Akim's Facebook page. Those allegations have not been confirmed either. It is not clear where the Kevin Smith report originated from since no reputable news outlet has substantiated the accusation.

Cardi issued a statement about her controversial Instagram Live comments. She said, "I never glorified the things I brought up in that live. I never even put those things in my music because I'm not proud of it and feel a responsibility not to glorify it. I made the choice that I did at the time because I had very limited options. I was blessed to have been able to rise from that but so many women have not."
