Anderson .Paak Announces The Release Date For His 'Oxnard' Album

Dr. Dre's musical protégé is returning with a new LP.

(AllHipHop News) Hip Hop/R&B/Soul performer Anderson .Paak is getting ready to drop his next full-length project. He announced the Oxnard album will land on November 16.

Previously, the West Coaster dropped the indie albums Venice in 2014 and Malibu in 2016. Oxnard will be his first release under the Aftermath Entertainment umbrella.

Paak already revealed that Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, and Pusha T will be featured on Oxnard. Aftermath founder and legendary producer Dr. Dre played a central role in the creation of the set.

"I know this is gonna be my third album technically but this is probably my fifteenth time doing this whole process of recording music, mixing it, and getting the art. I’ve done it so many times, but to do it with a producer of this caliber from top to bottom... it’s not like I did the album and he was like 'alright cool.' This dude was invested," said Paak about Dre.
