(AllHipHop News) Rapper Anderson .Paak is following up his recent Grammy win, with a new album and tour.
Anderson just announced he's dropping a new album executive produced by Dr. Dre called Ventura this April.
The tracks were recorded during the same sessions he recorded his breakthrough album Oxnard, which contained the Grammy award-winning hit "Bubblin."
"Growing up in Oxnard gave me the grit and the church to find this voice of mine. One town over I went further and found my depth," Anderson .Paak said. "The duality of each place inspired me greatly and from that I made two albums at the exact same time but held one back because that would have been too many songs to perform live for you all! I like ending things on an even number so welcome to 'Ventura.'"
As if that were not enough for his fans, Anderson .Paak also confirmed a slew of new tour dates, for the "Best Teef In The Game Tour" that will keep the rapper on the road during the months of May and June.
Thundercat will open up for all of the dates on the tour, while Earl Sweatshirt, Noname, Mac DeMarco and Jessie Reyez will appear on select dates.
The tour kicks off on May 17 and ends on June 27, while Ventura will arrive in stores on April 12.
Tickets for the tour go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, March 8th at 10:00am local time at LiveNation.com.
Anyone who buys a ticket will automatically get a CD or digital copy of the new album.
