(AllHipHop News) The annual Red Bull Music Culture Clash is returning to Atlanta, Georgia on August 24. This year's four-round competition will be hosted by Angela Yee of The Breakfast Club.
The battling teams are being led by Zaytoven (Zaytown Global), Mija & Kenny Beats (Don’t Think), Kranium (Frequent Flyers) and Fuego (Fireboy Sound). Each crew will represent their unique cultural background and sound.
A livestream will air on RedBull.com. Music journalist Vivian Host, Atlanta Hawks organist Sir Foster, and Federation Sound’s Max Glazer were tapped to kick-off the live broadcast with a pre-show at 8 pm EST.
In addition, Atlanta-born visual artist FRKO designed a limited edition Red Bull can to commemorate the event. The item will be available exclusively in the city, and consumers get the chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime experience at Culture Clash.
Last year, Popcaan’s Unruly unit took home the Culture Clash title for Jamaica. America's Mike WiLL Made-It, Canada's Wondagurl, and the United Kingdom's Tinie Tempah came up short in 2017, but each team leader rocked the crowd with appearances by Rae Sremmurd, Pusha T, Ludacris, Jermaine Dupri, Ying Yang Twins, Junior Reid, Crime Mob, and others.
