Apple Music Selects Elusive R&B Singer H.E.R. For The "Up Next" Series

A short film featuring the songstress will debut November 6 exclusively on the streamer.

(AllHipHop News) Gabi "H.E.R." Wilson is on some music insiders' short list as a potential nominee for Best New Artist at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. Apple Music is already prepared to crown the R&B singer as a notable rising musician.

The streaming giant selected H.E.R. for the "Up Next" series. The elusive vocalist follows Grammy-nominated performers such as Daniel Caesar, Khalid, and 6lack as "Up Next" alumni.

“It’s an honor to be a part of Apple Music’s 'Up Next' program,” says H.E.R. “I’m blown away by their support in helping spread my music and my message to the world!” The multi-instrumentalist is currently the #6 R&B artist worldwide across Apple Music.

H.E.R. released the I Used to Know Her: The Prelude EP in August. Over the last year, the RCA signee earned Best New Artist nods at the 2017 Soul Train Music Awards and the 2018 BET Awards.
