Science an expert to be damned. B.o.B is out to prove to everyone that the world is flat.

(AllHipHop News) Rapper/singer B.o.B is out to prove thousands of scientists wrong with a new GoFund Me campaign.

The "Airplanes" singer is attempting to raise money, to prove his claims that the earth is flat.

For over a year now, B.o.B has consistently claimed that the earth is actually flat and not round.

So, he is seeking to raise $200,000 to get to work to prove that he is not a conspiracy theories.

According to the GoFund Me page, the money will be used to purchase and launch a satellite into space, in order to investigate the matter.

So far, B.o.B has raised $701 towards the $200,000 goal.

B.o.B takes his claims that the world is flat very serious.

In fact, he dissed legendary astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, who had weighed in on the matter to dismiss the claims.

"to be clear: Being five centuries regressed in your reasoning doesn’t mean we all can’t still like your music," Tyson tweeted at B.o.B in January of 2016.

As a result of the back and forth, a rap battle between the two men emerged.

B.o.B released his track "Flatline," while Tyson's nephew "The Intellect" rapped for Neil deGrasse Tyson with his song "Flat to Fact" over Drake's "Back to Back" diss track.

You have to go up pretty high in the sky to see the curvature of the earth; it is said you don't have to go into outer-space to see it. Yet I'm not going up there no matter ho much they pay, and God knows I would never pay them to go up there....

Why would anyone waste time or money? His must be a marketing gimic on the part of B.o.B. I guess it is working because I never heard of him or his music until now.
