Bay Area Radio Station Bans Drake's Music As Warriors Play The Raptors In Game 3

Do not expect to hear any Drizzy on 102.9 in the Bay.

(AllHipHop News) Fans of Drake can forget about hearing his music in the Bay Area as The Golden State Warriors battle The Toronto Raptors in the 2019 NBA finals.

Adult contemporary radio station 102.9 KBLX has announced it is refusing to play any of Drake's music during the Finals.

“(We) could not stand on the sidelines and accept Drake showing no love for our Golden State Warriors. It is my joy to cease and desist all of Drake’s music on KBLX in support a team that is loved by the Bay Area and around the world. Oh yes, we are proclaiming a 3-peat," Elroy Smith told the Mercury News.

Drake has been grabbing headlines for his antics on the sidelines as he cheers on his beloved Raptors, who are trying to win their first ever championship.

The rapper has been talking smack to the Warriors from the sidelines, resulting in exchanges of words between Drake and multiple players, including Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.

Drake even picked a piece of lint out of Steph Curry's hair and threatened to auction it off on eBay.

The series, which is currently tied at 1-1, continues tonight at 9:00 PM EST when the Raptors face The Warriors at The Oracle Arena in Oakland.
