(AllHipHop News) Talent runs in the family.

Straight out of high school in Georgia, Big Boi’s son, Cross Patton, has officially committed to the Oregon Ducks.

The legendary Outkast member shared the exciting news to his 794K followers on Instagram, with the caption, “My Son @crosspatton #18 Committed to the Oregon Ducks !!!! #RunningBack #ScholarAthlete #GoDucks 🦆🦆🦆🦆 @uoregon

At 5’7” and 185 pounds, Patton has proven his ability to be quick and elusive on the field.

Joining other hip-hop elites’ sons, such as Diddy’s son Justin Combs and Snoop’s son Cordell Broadus — both of who joined UCLA — the high school senior has always been seen as the underdog due to his size.

Lucky for him, the blueprint of Oregon’s program has been built on its lightning speed.

Patton chose Oregon as a preferred walk-on over many other scholarship offers, including Columbia, Butler, and Division II Seton Hill.
