Big Boi's Son Cross Patton Commits To Oregon Ducks Football Team

The OutKast member will likely be making trips across the country to see his scion play.

(AllHipHop News) The offspring of one of the most successful Hip Hop artists of all time is taking his talents to the Pacific Northwest. Big Boi's son Cross Patton will join the University of Oregon football program.

Cross made the announcement at his Woodward Academy in Georgia. Big Boi posted on his Instagram page, "Congrats Son! We are so proud of u."

According to ESPN, Patton committed to the Oregon Ducks as a preferred walk-on. The 5'7" running back reportedly received scholarship offers from other institutions such as Butler, Columbia, and Seton Hill.

"I just want to thank my family, my mom and my dad, coach Davis, my football team," stated Cross. "I want to thank them for making me who I am today. With that being said, I want to announce that I committed to the University of Oregon."
