Black Women Take Over Twitter With The #DMXChallenge

Check out some of the tweets celebrating female users of African descent.

(AllHipHop News) "There was Brenda, LaTisha, Linda, Felicia, Dawn, LeShaun, Ines, and Alicia; Teresa, Monica, Sharron, Nicki, Lisa, Veronica, Karen, Vicky," rapped DMX on his 2000 hit "What These B*tches Want" featuring Sisqó. Those lyrics have now sparked a new social media challenge.

Black women are posting videos of themselves on Twitter using the ... And Then There Was X song. The #DMXChallenge centers around female users editing images of their various hairstyles into a single clip.

Besides becoming a top trending topic, the #DMXChallenge is also introducing younger generations to the legendary rapper. Dark Man X was one of the most successful Hip Hop artists of the late 1990s/early 2000s. His first five albums charted at #1 on the Billboard 200.
