(AllHipHop News) James "BlocBoy JB" Baker was arrested last week on possession of a handgun, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, and speeding charges. BlocBoy appeared in court on Monday.
The 22-year-old Memphis rapper was reportedly arrested fleeing his home when law enforcement arrived at the location in search of a wanted fugitive. Police supposedly found the murder suspect in BlocBoy's house on Thursday night, along with drugs, weapons, and ammunition.
BlocBoy was released from jail Friday on $15,000 bond just hours before he was set to perform at the Beale Street Music Festival. He is scheduled to be back in court on May 20.
"We're confident we're going to win this case and it'll be dismissed," stated Baker's attorney Aaron Neglia as they left the courtroom yesterday. BlockBoy allegedly told police the guns in his house were for a video shoot.
