(AllHipHop News) Some people speculated that Nicki Minaj purposely released her "Bust Down Barbiana" track to be shady towards Cardi B. Nicki dropped her version just hours after a clip of Cardi's upcoming verse on Blueface's "Thotiana" was posted online.
Wack 100, Blueface's manager, even appeared to call out Nicki for trying to step on the roll-out of the official remix. He wrote on Instagram, "We support EXCLUSIVE content ONLY. Just because your stalking skills triggered your radar don’t make it EXCLUSIVE."
Plus, there was an extra layer to the entire situation because Blueface and Nicki Minaj are associated with the Cash Money Records brand. When Blueface and Wack 100 recently appeared on 106 KMEL, they were asked about the "Thotiana (Remix)" versus "Bust Down Barbiana."
"Cardi B killed her. Listen, I'm a Cash Money rep, but I'm gonna keep it gangsta. She killed her because it wasn't about the 'anas', 'Brianas,' and 'prima donnas.' She was just rapping on that. She was rapping," declared Wack. Blueface added, "Yeah, I'm gonna rock for that. What he said."
Last month, the Famous Cryp creator defended Cardi B when a rumor circulated that he publicly dissed her about her odor. Blueface took to IG to say, "This shyt fake as a b*tch y’all got both of us fucced up."
