"You want the title, battle me."

(AllHipHop News) It was only a matter of time before Bobby Brown shared his thoughts on who is the true King of R&B. A debate over the crown started when "B.E.D." singer Jacquees declared that he currently sits in the thrown.

TMZ caught up with Brown, and the New Edition member offered a challenge for anyone that wants to claim king. He said, "You want the title, battle me... live on stage... me versus anybody, doesn't, matter who it is."

Bobby Brown also shouted out Chris Brown, Usher, and R. Kelly as potential heads of state over R&B. However, when questioned about who he would pick as his successor, the 49-year-old music legend chose Usher.

What about Jacquees' place in the R&B royal court? Bobby told the cameraman, "He's not even recognizable... I don't even know his music."
