Bobby Shmurda Celebrates His Birthday By Counting Down His Release From Prison

(AllHipHop News) Currently incarcerated rapper Bobby Shmurda may be a free man by the end of 2020. An Instagram page associated with the Brooklyn native provided an update on his possible release from prison.

Shmurda (born Ackquille Jean Pollard on August 4, 1994) and fellow alleged GS9 gang members were arrested outside Manhattan's Quad Recording Studios in 2014. Two years later, he pleaded guilty to conspiracy and weapons possession.
The "Hot N*gga" hitmaker was sentenced to seven years, and he was reportedly credited two years of time served. Pollard is eligible for parole on December 11, 2020.
