(AllHipHop News) Jay-Z and Beyoncé shocked the music world this weekend when the couple dropped their collaborative album Everything Is Love. While the entire Tidal-exclusive LP had the public talking, the song "Boss" caught the attention of Hip Hop followers.
A few bars on the track appeared to be Jay's most recent subliminal shots directed at Drake. Hov raps, "N-gga, you not a boss, you got a boss. N-ggas getting jerked, that sh-t hurts. I take it personally. N-ggas rather work for the man than to work with me. Just so they can pretend they on my level, that sh-t is irkin' to me."
DJ Akademiks posted the record's lyrics on his Instagram page. The Everyday Struggle host's caption suggested Jay was aiming at the OVO leader. Bo-i1da, a regular producer for Drake, jumped in Ak's comments to respond. He simply wrote, "Reach."
Besides working with Drizzy on the "God's Plan" single, Bo-i1da produced two songs on The Carters' Everything Is Love. The Toronto native contributed to "Friends" and "Heard About Us."
