(AllHipHop News) Boosie Badass refuses to accept the court’s ruling that he did not show up to court.
The New Orleans rapper was ordered to pay more than $233K for an incident that happened two years ago, where a security guard pepper-sprayed him at a Biloxi, Mississippi mall.
Allegedly, Boosie had skipped the hearing on Tuesday in Gulfport, where the judge ordered him to fork over the $233K to Glen Kerley — the security guard who claimed he was assaulted by Boosie and members of his entourage.
This took place at Edgewater Mall during Biloxi Black Beach Weekend in April 2017.
Boosie claims this is all lies. Taking to his 6M followers on Instagram, he posts a picture a screenshot stating:
“THAT IS BULLSHIT TALKING BOUT I MISSED COURT. I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED TO COME TO COURT. “NEVER.” NOBODY GAVE ME ONE COURT NOTICE. THIS IS A RACIST PLOT TO TRY N TAKE ME DOWN. THIS MAN CHASED ME DOWN N MASED ME IN FRONT OF MY DAUGHTER N FAMILY N YALL WANT ME TO PAY HIM. Why would I miss court? THESE PPL ARE FULL OF EVIL N DECEIT. WE WILL BE AT THE COURTHOUSE STANDING UP FOR MY RIGHTS AND ANY OTHER HUMAN BEING WHOS TARGETED N ATTACKED MY SECURITY N POLICE OFFICERS.”
He adds, “THIS IS JUST WRONG. I WILL BE APPEALING THIS MONDAY,” before giving a phone number to contact to join the Boosie Family Walk for justice.
Boosie was awarded an undisclosed amount of money in a settlement over the mall incident, which started in a Dillard's as Boosie was shopping with his family.
