The stadium may need a makeover after the On The Run II Tour.
(AllHipHop News) As the date for Jay Z and Beyonce’s On The Run II Tour at Williams-Brice Stadium in South Carolina quickly approaches, officials are preparing for the worst.
While many are worried about being able to catch the show on Tuesday August 21, sports fans are more worried about their football team Gamecocks’ season opener.
Although setting the stage for the show’s production isn’t a walk in the park, they are more focused on damage control above all else.
South Carolina Senator Katrina Shealy also posted her concerns about the concert and the disruption it was causing to local communities outside of the University as well.
"How much money are we really getting for this," Shealy said. "It's going to have to be a lot I hope and then how much money is the university making of this.
"As citizens of South Carolina we need to be concerned about how our money is being spent and make sure that we are being reimbursed because certainly the entertainers are making plenty of money of this," Shealy continued. "I don't think we closed roads for six days for Kenny Chesney."
