Cardi B Announces The Official Release Date For Her New Single Titled "Money"

Will the self-described Trap Selena score another hit record?

(AllHipHop News) If you take a look at Billboard's current Hot 100 chart, you'll see that Cardi B has three records in the Top 20. Her guest verse on Maroon 5's "Girls Like You" has Cardi sitting at #1 for the fifth week.

In addition, Belcalis' former #1 "I Like It" featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin is resting at #12. DJ Snake's "Taki Taki" with Cardi, Selena Gomez, and Ozuna also climbed to #16 on the latest Hot 100.

Despite that significant commercial success, the Bronx-bred superstar isn't slowing down. Cardi took to social media on Monday night to officially announce that her first post-Invasion Of Privacy lead single is arriving this week.

"MY SINGLE 'MONEY' will be out on THURSDAY 12:30pm," tweeted Cardi. She also posted the forthcoming song's cover art.

Invasion Of Privacy just came out seven months ago. The album has already been certified 2x Platinum by the RIAA, and twelve of the project's thirteen tracks have reached Gold, Platinum, or Multi-Platinum status.

Footage of Cardi in the studio with fellow Atlantic Records artist Meek Mill recently hit the internet. It's not clear if the snippet from the session is a preview of "Money" as a potential collaboration between the two rhymers.

Cardi B released "Money" early. The track arrived on iTunes, various streaming services, and YouTube on Tuesday (October 23).
