Cardi B Becomes First Female Rapper With Three No. 1 Singles On The Hot 100

“For the record, I set record record sales.”

(AllHipHop News) A few weeks ago, some observers were ready to declare Cardi B’s career over. However, a violent incident at New York Fashion Week hasn’t stopped the Bronx rapstress from collecting another chart record.

Cardi is now the first female rapper to have three #1 entries on the Hot 100. She earned her third chart topper as a feature on Maroon 5's "Girls Like You.”

Previously, Belcalis reached the pinnacle of the Billboard chart with “Bodak Yellow” in 2017 and “I Like It” featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin earlier this year. No other female rapper has more than one #1 single.

The Invasion of Privacy album creator celebrated her latest accomplishment on Instagram. She thanked Maroon 5 for adding her to the song.
