The New Yorker passes Lauryn Hill, Lil Kim, Shawnna, Iggy Azalea, and Remy Ma.

(AllHipHop News) Cardi B has made history. The self-described "Regular, Degular, Shmegular girl from The Bronx" earned her second #1 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.

With "I Like It" featuring Bad Bunny & J Balvin rising to the top spot, Cardi is now the only female rapper to lead the Hot 100 more than once. The record joins "Bodak Yellow" as the second single from the Invasion of Privacy album to hit Number One.

Lauryn Hill's "Doo Wop (That Thing)," Lil' Kim's "Lady Marmalade" with Christina Aguilera, Mya and P!nk, Shawnna's guest appearance on Ludacris' "Stand Up," and Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" featuring Charli XCX are the only other tracks by female rappers to reach the pinnacle of the chart.

"Lean Back" was a Hot 100 topper as well. The song was credited to the Hip Hop group Terror Squad, and it includes a verse from femcee Remy Ma.

In addition, Cardi B is the first solo female act to earn two Hot 100 Number 1s from a debut album since Lady Gaga in 2009. The Pop superstar achieved that milestone with "Just Dance" and "Poker Face" off The Fame. The last overall act to score two Number 1s from a debut album was Macklemore & Ryan Lewis with The Heist cuts "Thrift Shop" and "Can't Hold Us" in 2013.
