The Bronx rapstress is once again talking politics with her 48 million Instagram followers.

(AllHipHop News) At the beginning of July, Cardi B expressed her interest in hearing the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates discuss their individual plans to combat police brutality. The "Bodak Yellow" rapper is closing out the month by calling on the media to change its focus.

Donald Trump has spent the last few weeks attacking Democratic congresspersons of color (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, Rashida Tlaib, and Elijah Cummings). Cardi took to Instagram to advise the press, YouTube channels, blogs, social media influencers, and other outlets to ignore the President's Twitter fingers and give more attention to the Democrats seeking the White House.

"We get distracted with people putting Trump on blast, like CNN constantly putting Trump on blast on the illegal sh*t that he has been committing in this country because he puts things on Twitter that distract us from all the bullsh*t that he actually be doing," said Cardi.

The New York City-born political junkie continued, "So instead of us posting the little bullsh*t he be posting on Twitter, why don't we post, every single day, the positive things these Democratic candidates want to do for our country? This man has a big chance of winning in 2020 and we can change that."

Twenty of the Democratic presidential candidates will take part in a two-night debate on CNN in Detroit beginning July 30. Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Pete Buttigieg, and Beto O'Rourke will be among the contenders to face off on Tuesday. The next night will feature Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, Julián Castro, Bill de Blasio, Tulsi Gabbard, Andrew Yang, and more.
