(AllHipHop News) No one can deny that Cardi B had an amazing 2018. The Bronx rapper's year included dropping her double-platinum album Invasion of Privacy, setting a new chart record with the #1 single "I Like It," and collaborating with Fashion Nova for a sold-out clothing line.
Donald "Childish Gambino" Glover had a stellar 2018 as well. He premiered season 2 of the Emmy-winning Atlanta series, took on the iconic role of Lando Calrissian in Solo: A Star Wars Story, and broke the internet with the "This Is America" music video.
Entertainment Weekly recognized Cardi B and Donald Glover's respective accomplishments by naming the two Hip Hop personalities to its "Entertainers of the Year" list. Cardi was even selected to appear on the front of the magazine.
The female stars of Black Panther and Crazy Rich Asians, as well as The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story actor Darren Criss, were given covers too. Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Nicole Kidman, Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga, and Ariana Grande were also among the "Entertainers of the Year" for EW.
