Cardi B Earns The Most 2019 BET Award Nominations

Find out who else will vie for Silver Stars in June.

(AllHipHop News) Once again, Cardi B is going into an award show in 2019 with the most chances to win. Earlier this year, the New Yorker led the pack at the Billboard Music Awards and iHeartRadio Music Awards.

The 2019 BET Award nominations are now out. Cardi picked up 7 nods, the most for any artist. She will be competing against herself in the Video Of The Year category (“Money” and “Please Me” with Bruno Mars).

Besides VOTY, the Bronx-raised star will also contend for Album Of The Year, Viewer's Choice Award, Best Collaboration (2 noms), and Best Female Hip-Hop Artist. Cardi B beat out Dej Loaf, Nicki Minaj, Rapsody, and Remy Ma for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist at the 2018 ceremony.

It's been a highly successful year on the awards circuit for Cardi. Kulture's mother took home trophies from the Billboard Music Awards, iHeartRadio Music Awards, BET Social Awards, and BMI Pop Awards. Plus, her Invasion of Privacy LP made history by receiving a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.

Other artists to earn multiple BET Awards nominations include Drake, J. Cole, The Carters, Bruno Mars, Childish Gambino, 21 Savage, Ella Mai, Meek Mill, Travis Scott, H.E.R.,Teyana Taylor, and City Girls. Victory Lap creator Nipsey Hussle scored a posthumous nod for Best Male Hip-Hop Artist.

The 2019 BET Awards are scheduled to air live on June 23 at 8 pm ET.
