(AllHipHop News) Earlier this week, news began circulating that Cardi B was potentially setting up her own television talk show. However, the "Please Me" hitmaker is pushing back on those reports and calling out the original outlet.
A TMZ article titled "CARDI B I WANT A 'BOCKTAILS' TV SHOW... And 'Bocktails' Booze" alleged Cardi filed trademark documents claiming the name "Bocktails with Cardi B" for "entertainment services in the nature of providing ongoing episodes for distribution via television and the Internet featuring celebrities and artists." But was that her actual intent?
According to Cardi, viewers should not expect to see her hosting a talk program any time soon. She tweeted, "No I’m not doing a tv show. I’m just [trademarking] different drinks name. TMZ gets one piece of information and put legs and feet on that b*tch!"
Belcalis Almánzar may not be in a position to be the next Wendy Williams or Andy Cohen, but she could be the next Simon Cowell or Paula Abdul. Cardi joined with T.I. and Chance The Rapper to serve as judges for Netflix's upcoming Hip Hop competition show Rhythm + Flow.
