Cardi B's Second Fashion Nova Collection Makes $1 Million In First-Day Sales

The Grammy winner continues to succeed in the business world.

(AllHipHop News) "I could buy designer, but this Fashion Nova fit," raps Cardi B on "She Bad." Belcalis Almánzar has a history with FN clothing, so it was no surprise when she united with the Los Angeles-based company last year for her own collection.

"Season 2" of #FNxCardi debuted this week. According to TMZ, the new spring-summer line has brought in more than $1 million in revenue in its first 24 hours of availability. The label reportedly offered almost five times the amount of inventory as the first collection. Many of the latest items are already sold out.

"I’m not sure what’s gonna be the biggest hit yet, because everything looks so good! And something I learned from doing the last collection is that everyone has different tastes," Cardi told Elle. "But this time around, the clothes are going to be a little more sexy. You’re going to see a lot of skin. A lot of cleavage. But yet it’s so pretty and so elegant. I made sure it was sexy but also beautiful."

Since her emergence as an A-List entertainer, Cardi has closed deals with several other brands including Pepsi, Reebok, Amazon, Tom Ford, Rap Snacks, and MUZIK. The Nasdaq Stock Market recently shouted out the rapper/businesswoman on Instagram.
