Cardi B Wins Crossover Artist Of The Year At 2019 Billboard Latin Music Awards

The New Yorker earns another career accomplishment.

(AllHipHop News) Puerto Rican singer Ozuna was the big victor at this year's Billboard Latin Music Awards by winning in 11 categories, including Artist Of The Year, Hot Latin Male Songs Artist Of The Year, and Top Latin Album Of The Year (Odisea).

Ozuna's "La Modelo" collaborator Cardi B was also a winner last night. The Bronx-born daughter of a Dominican father and Trinidadian mother was awarded Crossover Artist Of The Year. Cardi beat out Demi Lovato, DJ Snake, and Drake.

This gives the "I Like It" rapper yet another 2019 industry honor. So far, Cardi has taken home trophies from the Grammy Awards, iHeartRadio Music Awards, and the Lo Nuestro Awards. She earned 21 nominations in 18 categories for the upcoming Billboard Music Awards.
