Donald Trump has finally been removed from his seat as leader of the free world!

Put some respect on his name: Former Vice President Joe Biden’s title has changed to President-Elect as all major news outlets have declared the Delaware resident as the 46th President of the United States of America.

Winning the popular vote with over 80 million ballots cast in his name, Biden’s presidency is historic as he ran with Senator Kamala Harris, a Black woman of Jamaican and Indian descent.

While Asian-Americans flocked to the polls in support of the daughter of a Chennaite woman, it was her deep roots in Black America that added substantially to the campaign’s success.

Harris is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated being made on the Howard Campus in the Alpha Chapter. She also is a graduate of Howard University.

Important to note is that people from all walks of life helped to push this victory, with a new invigoration of the Black vote.

Stacey Abrams, the former Georgia gubernatorial candidate, through her Fair Fight movement pushed against voter suppression — and helped register so many people who saw themselves as cast-a-ways by the governor. She is a graduate of Spelman College, prompting memes like this to pop up all across the interwebs.

“Real Talk…. Howard University may be entering White House, but it was Spelman College that gave them the key,” says Dr. Larry L. Brown, a member from the Morehouse chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi.

Another meme from @officialcocodairies said, “A Black woman from Spelman helped get out the vote in a city ran by a Black woman from FAMU to push a ticket with a Black woman from Howard over the top. Thank you Black women and thank you HBCUs!

The Biden campaign also enlisted a number of rappers and influencers to side with them such as Young Jeezy, Common, Magic Johnson, Lebron James, D-Nice, and Chris Paul.

Rappers like Cardi B, DNA, and Charlie Clips received huge push back for their work with the new president-elect as people said that their inclusion was the Biden campaign pandering to young voters.

To that, they got the clap back for their haters.

Cardi took to social media yesterday because she had a feeling, “I haven’t been fussing cause I know deep down we finna win.BIDENxKamala”
