(AllHipHop News) Chance The Rapper will forever be a man of his city.

Continuing on with his humanitarian efforts to give back to his hometown of Chicago, the “No Problem” rapper teamed up with Lyft and raised over $60,000 to donate to surrounding public schools.

In October of last year, the partnership between Chance and the ride-share app was launched, allowing Lyft riders to round up their fares to the nearest dollar and donate the difference.

The funds were managed by Chance’s nonprofit foundation, SocialWorks, which aims to enhance the arts and literature programs available in schools.

“Special thanks to Lyft for partnering with my nonprofit, SocialWorks, to raise funds for a great cause," Chance stated. "Though there is still a tremendous amount of work that needs to be done in our city, with the help from selfless companies such as Lyft and their generous riders, SocialWorks is able to continue providing activations, resources and educational enrichment programming geared to inspire Chicago’s youth.”
