(AllHipHop News) Chance The Rapper recognized he'd marry his childhood sweetheart, Kirsten Corley, when he was nine.
The hip-hop star met his future wife at his mom's office party in 2003, where Corley and her collaborators performed as "Destiny's Child," and he explained.
"My mom worked at a real estate agency with her mom and her daughters love to dance, so they did a choreographed dance at this real estate party that I was at when I was nine," Chance recalled. "I saw her dancing and I was like, 'Let's get married!'"
He recently opened up about the couple's love story on Instagram, admitting she was imitating Kelly Rowland in Destiny's Child at the party.
He didn't meet Kirsten again for nearly a decade - at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas in 2012.
The duo has had an on-and-off relationship.
The pair broke up in 2017, but reunited in 2018, becoming engaged in July and getting hitched in March in Newport Beach, California.
