Chance The Rapper Scores His Highest-Charting Project With 'Acid Rap' Re-Release

The Chitown representative's 'Owbum' is coming soon.

(AllHipHop News) Chance The Rapper is now a Grammy-winning musician with a critically-acclaimed discography. However, back in 2013, Chano was a Hip Hop newcomer that gained notable attention with his Acid Rap mixtape.

On June 28, the Chicago-bred emcee re-released Acid Rap, as well as his debut tape 10 Day, on streaming services for the first time. Vinyl versions of the projects were also made available.

Acid Rap debuted at #5 on the latest Billboard 200 chart with 40,000 units. This gives Chance his highest entry on the album rankings. Previously, 2016's Coloring Book peaked at #8. 10 Day opened at #73 on this week's Billboard 200.

Chance The Rapper is expected to release his first official studio album sometime this month. He dropped the song "GRoCERIES" featuring TisaKorean and Murda Beatz in May.
