Chance the Rapper is teaming up with bosses at transportation service Lyft to help fund underprivileged schools in his native Chicago, Illinois.

(AllHipHop News) The company bosses are giving customers an opportunity to round up their fares to the nearest dollar, and the extra money will benefit the "Cocoa Butter Kisses" hitmaker's New Chance: Arts & Literature Fund.

The Round Up & Donate option is available through the Lyft app.

"Through the New Chance Arts & Literature Fund, I'm committed to giving the kids in Chicago as much as I can," Chance says. "And now with Lyft's Round Up & Donate, we can give them much more because the more we ride, the more we raise to bring more arts programs to Chicago Public Schools."

The 24-year-old rap star is a strong supporter of his hometown's school systems and he donated $1 million to the Chicago Public Schools Foundation in March.

He has also spearheaded a campaign raising another $2.2 million for the city's public schools through his organization, the New Chance Arts and Literature Fund.
