(AllHipHop News) Chance The Rapper continues to give back to his city.

The rap star is slated to join the peace rally at St. Sabina Church set to kick off the summer.

The Chi-Town native joins a list of A-List celebs and anti-gun violence activists heading to St. Sabina South Side parish mid-June.

In addition to the push for gun legislation, Chance will be advocating for the importance of registering to vote.

This won’t be the first time Chance partakes, as he joined last year’s festivities.

The rally is led by Rev. Michael Pfleger, pastor of the African-American congregation praised for its stance against gun violence.

“This year, the young have proven they can be leaders and have a national voice. They will run the rally… no law enforcement speakers this time," Rev. Pfleger said.

The rally usually takes place at the end of the school year, with a projected attendance of over 4,000 individuals. Stay tuned for updates.
