(AllHipHop News) Chance the Rapper will show off his cooking skills at a restaurant in his native Chicago, Illinois for charity.
The “No Problem” hitmaker will be donning an apron behind the grill at chicken diner Nando's next month to benefit his nonprofit organization Social Works, which offers the city's youth opportunities in the arts and education.
"Meet me at @NandosUSA Michigan Ave opening, I’m grilling on 9/5 @ 6pm to #SupportCPS & raise $ for @SocialWorks_Chi,” Chance wrote on Twitter.
"We can’t think of a better ambassador to help Nando's celebrate the Grand Opening of our flagship Chicago location, and to help support public education in a city we love," a statement from Sepanta Bagherpour, Nando's USA vice president of marketing, reads.
Chance, real name Chancelor Bennett, has become heavily involved in his local community in recent months, announcing plans in March to donate $1 million to Chicago Public Schools officials after a disappointing meeting with Illinois governor Bruce Rauner about the state's education funding.
