(AllHipHop News) In November of 2015, Jimmy Carlton Winfrey was sentenced to 20 years in jail after being convicted of shooting at Lil Wayne’s tour bus.

Now, it seems the ruling is overturned.

The Associated Press reports Georgia's highest court has reversed Winfrey’s convictions after he pleaded guilty to a gang charge stemming from the incident that took place on a highway in the Peach State.

Winfrey was best known as Peewee Roscoe, former tour manager of Birdman, who has had a long-lasting beef with Lil Wayne.

The state Supreme Court reported the judge on trial did not properly participate in the plea negotiations, deeming the 25-year-old’s plea involuntary.

During a pretrial hearing, prosecutors mistakenly told the judge Winfrey denied three plea offers, when he pleaded guilty to six counts of violations against the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act.
