The "Times Talk" is not taking place following Ye's visit to the White House.

(AllHipHop News)The Breakfast Club co-host Charlamagne Tha God was expected to sit down with Kanye West in New York City to discuss mental health. That event is no longer taking place.

Charlamagne announced on social media that the "Times Talk" with Kanye scheduled for October 17 was canceled. The author of an upcoming book titled Shook One: Anxiety Playing Tricks On Me had been promoting the discussion for weeks.

"Normalizing being mentally healthy is a conversation that I really wanted to have with Kanye because he's been so vocal about his own mental health struggles," wrote Charlamagne on Instagram. "Unfortunately I think to have that conversation with him right now would not be productive and a total distraction from the point of the convo which is to eradicate the stigma of mental health especially in the black community."

The cancellation comes after West elicited both condemnation and concern for his televised Oval Office meeting with Donald Trump last week. Kanye's rambling White House rant included the Chicago-raised rapper discussing alternates universes, prison reform, Superman, the 13th Amendment, trap doors, sleep deprivation, racism, Saturday Night Live, Hillary Clinton, his love for Trump, and numerous other topics.

For all we know this could just be a show that people have put on for the cbd gummies. In all honesty if I were to make a decision and stick by it, it would not be this one.
