Radio and TV personality Charlamagne The God is loved (and hated) for his unfiltered thoughts and controversial opinions. His antics have helped him not only maintain his spot on Power 105.1's morning show The Breakfast Club but also helped him earn a residency with MTV2. Besides appearing on Guy Code, which is one of their highest rated original series in network history, he will now be hosting his own show, Uncommon Sense With Charlamagne. The pilot will consist of a panel of comedians debating and wisecracking over social media-inspired news.
The show is being jump started by Rich Korson, who played a major role in putting together Comedy Central shows like The Colbert Report and The Daily Show With Jon Stewart. No word on when this pilot will be debuting.
This isn't the first time the South Carolina native has had his own pilot on the network. Last year, he hosted Charlamagne & Friends with a panel of journalists and comedians, similar to his new gig.
