(AllHipHop News) The time has come for Charlamagne Tha God to have his own TV show on HBO.
Most known for his role as co-host of "The Breakfast Club" radio show in New York, it only makes sense for the media personality to host his own series on national television.
The show is titled "The Gray Area" and set to debut later this year.
It will be a series of four interview specials with no further information on guests and topics.
The show will be co-produced by Karen Kinney and Charlamagne himself.
“Charlamagne brings a provocative, thoughtful and always honest voice to all of his interviews," Nina Rosenstein, the EVP HBO Programming, stated. "We think these specials will be surprising and enlightening and we look forward to seeing who he brings to the table.”
Charlamagne also spoke on the official partnership with the television channel, praising God for his new venture.
“I feel extremely blessed to be able to announce my official partnership with HBO on a new conversation series which will provide a safe space for ‘unsafe’ people to curate their stories and control their own narratives," Charlemagne explained. "The reality is, when it comes to people’s stories, it’s not black or white, it’s always an area that’s a shade of gray and that’s usually where the lies end and the truth begins, and this show will give those people an opportunity to share their truth.”
