(AllHipHop News) Nicki Minaj once again caused headlines to spread across the internet with one tweet. Was the Hip Hop firebrand just trolling or did she genuinely accuse The Breakfast Club of barring her from the syndicated radio show?
"Charlemagne get so excited when he thinks some1 bout to say smthn negative about me 😭 that tail get to wagging, that lil p*ssy get to poppin, he get to giggling 😂They banned me from the show but always talkn bout me. I’m pullin up cuz we in NY soon. I’d rather be invited tho js," posted Nicki in response to Rick Ross' recent interview on The Breakfast Club.
Page Six caught up with Charlemagne Tha God to get his response to Minaj's public statement on Twitter. The outspoken pundit made it clear the Queen album creator is not prevented from appearing on Power 105.1.
"There was never a problem with her," said Charlemagne. “We never banned her from the radio station. There is not a consequence to what she has said now, or in the past. I don’t know why she is saying that.”
Nicki Minaj has been on The Breakfast Club several times. Plus, she and Charlemagne once had a working relationship. A "Press Conference" conducted by the media personality was a track on a special version of Minaj's 2012 album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.
According to CTG, the fallout between the two celebrities happened after he criticized her "Anaconda" single. Nicki also blamed Charlemagne for being one of the people that pushed the so-called "hate train" against her, and the rapstress alleged he supported Cardi B's rise in the industry to spite her. Charlamagne recently stated, "We've had these discussions about this 'hate train.' It's not true. If she wants to believe that and wants her fans to believe that, it's cool."
