Child Services Investigates Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian
(AllHipHop News) Executives at the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) are reportedly investigating the wellbeing of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s daughter Dream.
DCFS officials in Los Angeles County reportedly opened an investigation over allegations of Chyna's drug use before she and Rob split earlier this year as they were concerned about the wellbeing of the former couple's 10-month-old daughter Dream, according to TMZ.com.
The authorities want to ensure that Dream is protected so they have reportedly gone to L.A. County Dependency Court so a judge can rule if Dream is safe.
Official court documents allegedly show the matter as a related case to Chyna's restraining order filing, in which she claimed Rob had been physically abusive.
She was granted the protective order in July after Rob posted nude pictures of her online in a revenge porn scandal.
The exes have been trying to hash out a custody agreement over Dream for months and they are reportedly getting closer to a deal.
TMZ reports they are both happy to give each other substantial physical custody of their daughter but they are still battling over the issue of child support, as Chyna is asking for more money than Rob thinks she deserves.
As there is an open case into Dream at the Dependency Court, any custody agreement they come to will have to be signed off by that judge too.
Sources have told the website Rob is confident that Chyna can cope with parental responsibilities, but the rest of the Kardashian clan aren't so convinced about her fitness as a mother due to the previous drug allegations.
Chyna was arrested for drug possession after police officers allegedly found two ecstasy pills in her sunglasses case at Austin International Airport in Texas in early 2016. The charges were dismissed after she took unspecified classes.
The reality star is also mother to four-year-old son King Cairo from her relationship with rapper Tyga.
