Chris Brown sent out a series of tweets yesterday (December 17) where he stated the American justice system is “set on bullsh*t.” During his tweet spree, Brown claimed the United States is run by corrupt politicians and illegal narcotics. At one point CB asks, “Y’all wanna lock [Meek] up but what about Freddie Gray?”

The R&B singer was sentenced to probation and community service following the 2009 assault of his then-girlfriend Rihanna. His probation ended earlier this year.

Another entertainer that has faced the U.S. criminal courts first hand shared his thoughts about the situation as well. Turk, the New Orleans rapper who spent 8 years, 8 months and 16 days incarcerated on second-degree attempted murder charges, replied to Brown on his own Twitter timeline.

“We gotta be more accountable for our own actions. We know about the system,” wrote the former Hot Boys member. He later added, “The system is corrupt, but we can’t keep falling in the traps.”
